Property Tax Certificate Request by Email

This report is most used by law firms for real estate transactions, and provides a property tax certificate via e-mail, usually within a business day. A tax certificate, as required under section 350 of the Municipal Government Act, shows the amount of taxes imposed in the year, the amount of taxes owing and the total amount of tax arrears, if any. Also included is title and LINC (Land Identification Numeric Code) number and legal description of the parcel. No property ownership information is provided in this report per the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act. The tax certificate will be emailed as a PDF file within 1-4 business days. An email address is required and Adobe Acrobat Reader® must be installed on your PC to enable printing of the Tax Certificate.
