Calgary Transit passes
Sale of Adult and Youth Low Income monthly passes is temporarily suspended on City Online in preparation for the implementation of the Sliding Scale system. Sale of the April monthly pass will resume shortly. For more information on Sliding Scale, please visit the Fair Entry website.
Online Senior pass (Regular and Low Income) purchases will not be available during this time. These improvements should be complete in early 2017. Seniors can still purchase their yearly transit pass at any Calgary Transit downtown Customer Service Centres. Contact 3-1-1 if you have any questions about seniors transit passes.
We've got a new look!
Things look a bit different on City Online, but all of the product offerings or services you expect to find are still here waiting for you.
As the official online store for The City of Calgary, this new look ensures that the site is recognizable as a City of Calgary site.
As always, we appreciate your feedback and use it to help us shape the site's service offerings, going forward. We'll be making more changes to City Online in the coming months to expand our service and product offerings, so stay tuned for more information.
ALERT: On November 28, 2016, The City of Calgary will be launching a new Open Data Portal! The new Portal promises to deliver a richer experience to users with enhanced data analysis features, new data visualization tools, and API capabilities for easier app development.
With the launch of the new Open Data Portal, we'll be retiring the old catalogue at the end of the year. To make the transition to the new Portal smoother for users, we've migrated the current catalogue to archivedata.calgary.ca, which will remain live until January 31, 2017.
A quick URL update should help to mitigate any downtime for app developers who currently link to the existing site, until you've had time to make a permanent switch to the new Portal's API functionality.
