Most commonly used by law firms for real estate transactions, this report provides a property tax certificate via e-mail, usually within a business day. A tax certificate, as required under section 350 of the Municipal Government Act, shows the amount of taxes imposed in the year, the amount of taxes owing and the total amount of tax arrears, if any. Information also includes title and LINC (Land Identification Numeric Code) number and legal description of the parcel. Please note: No property ownership information is provided in this report per the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act.
Note that the tax certificate will be emailed to you as a PDF file within 1-4 business days.
You must have an email address and Adobe Acrobat Reader® installed on your PC to enable printing of the Tax Certificate. The Reader is available free from the Adobe Systems Incorporated® Web site. If you have any difficulties downloading the Reader, the Adobe® Web site also offers a customer support service (Adobe® Web site). We recommend you test the compatibility of your printer by printing the above sample. If the sample does not print legibly, please do not request processing.
