The purpose of this document is to establish minimum requirements for Project Closure including: verification that deliverables of the project were completed and accepted; a Lessons Learned session has been completed in order to influence future projects; formal closure and recognition to the project team so they can be released; and transition the deliverables to operations.
The Project Closure Standard supports corporate accountability and transparency for The City’s capital projects/programs. It also supports compliance with The City’s policies and procedures, and will assist with audit compliance.
